Co-ordinator and design engineer as part of a small project team tasked with the research and evaluation of above ground vehicle detectors for application on five/six-lane motorways and the elevated section of the M4. This study involves selection, off-road trials and then further product testing with on road trials and subsequent reporting of the extensive findings. This work was then developed with interest in Video Image Processing technologies for queue protection and incident alerts with profile and awareness growing through-out the industry.
